Privacy Policy

In plain terms. We collect your X identity, your wallet address, and your trading activity. Your positions and results are public by design, and anything on-chain is permanent. We never see your private keys, your X password, or your DMs. We do not sell your data.
1. What we collect
- Identity. When you sign in with X we receive a stable account identifier, your username, display name, and profile image. Your recovery method (a passkey or email) is held by Privy, our authentication and wallet provider.
- Wallet. The public address of the wallet provisioned for your account and its on-chain activity.
- Trading activity. Positions, closes, rolls, results, season points, achievements, and leaderboard standing.
- Usage and device data. Server logs including IP address, browser type, timestamps, and the pages and API calls you make. Cloudflare processes this data to serve and protect the site.
2. What we never collect
Private keys or seed phrases, your X password, your X direct messages, payment card numbers, or government identifiers. If a page ever asks you for a private key, it is not Respawn.
3. How we use it
- Operating markets, sessions, the pool, leaderboards, and season progression.
- Publishing the open book, community activity, and standings, which is the product.
- Detecting manipulation, multiple accounts, and abuse.
- Securing the Service and responding to legal process.
- Communicating changes to the Service.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not sell it.
4. Public by design
Positions attached to your X identity are published on the Service when a session locks and appear in community feeds, leaderboards, and share cards. Activity on Robinhood Chain is public and permanent; nobody, including Respawn, can delete on-chain records. Choose the identity you link with this in mind.
5. Who we share with
- Privy for sign-in and wallet provisioning.
- Cloudflare for hosting, storage, and protection.
- X for sign-in and, when you use the share feature, the post you choose to publish.
- Robinhood Chain and its public explorers for on-chain activity.
- Authorities and courts where the law requires it.
6. Retention
Account and trading records are kept for as long as your account exists and afterwards as needed for season history, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security. On-chain data is permanent.
7. Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete off-chain data that we are not required to keep. Public leaderboard history and on-chain records cannot be deleted. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honour them to the extent they apply. To exercise a right, message respawn.family on X from the account linked to your Respawn account.
8. Children
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.
9. International use
Respawn is operated from the United States and its providers process data there and in other countries. By using the Service you consent to that processing.
10. Changes
We will post any change to this policy here and announce material changes on the Service or on respawn.family.
